Our family heritage has deep roots in the restaurant industry that date way back to
1933. Little Lady Foods was founded in the Wrigleyville neighborhood of Chicago by the Esposito family in 1961, with the intent to produce and assemble a vast array of packaged food products. The Espositos began to explore the frozen pizza market and
it later became their key item in the 1970s and early ‘80s. After several years of insufficient growth, Little Lady Foods was sold to restaurateur Angelo Geocaris
in 1984 with the aspirations of taking his Barnaby’s pizzeria recipe into grocery
stores nationwide.
Since then, the company concept shifted and Little Lady Foods expanded into the food service and retail markets. Under current management, Little Lady Foods has grown from $100,000 in sales in 1984 to over $300 million in 2008. We create and manufacture pizzas, gourmet sandwiches, wraps, enrobed items appetizers, breakfast items and desserts for the largest and most popular food companies in the world— without any signs of slowing down!
